The 2007 edition of Rated X took place at Cinema OT301 and attracted more than 1500 visitors over three days and two nights.
With only a website and 1500 flyers, and without the help of any serious publicity or budget, the festival succeeded in gathering a young, mixed and open-minded crowd to each of the screenings.
Throughout the weekend, half the screenings sold out completely.
Guests of Rated X 2007 included: Dutch porn director Willem Van Batenburg, lesbian fetish filmmaker Maria Beatty, and actor Thomas Lundy.
